TUESDAY TWENTY-TWO

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

TUESDAY TWENTY-TWO

Postby Nasoosie » Tue May 22, 2012 7:46 am

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

It's a dark and rainy day so far this morning....but still a warm 70 degrees, or so. Dinah is out under the canopy, and Molly is in here on the sofa bed. She is sometimes walking on her sore leg, and sometimes carrying it in the air. Vet said bad sprain or strain, or whatever, and doesn't think break-----as I had pretty much already decided. But I got heart worm meds and flea/tick meds for both dogs as well as more pain meds for Molly yesterday, so I guess the 189 bucks will be worth it later on when I don't have to take either dog to my own vet in order to get those meds later.

I have no clue what I will do today in the rain, other than pay some bills online. I need to go Price Chopper later for supplies, as well, and I think Mandy, Orion and I will do that when she gets back from her morning conferences. Other than that, maybe I will do some more crossword puzzles and then read a book I have been starting over and over for years now----can't even remember the name of it right now!

Happy Tuesday to all of you out there in camper-land, wherever you may be!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Morning all! A beautiful morning here on the banks of the Mississippi. Spent the night on Beale Street listening to great blues and drinking beer. Not my usual liquid of choice, but seemed to match  wound up at a bar sitting next to a couple from London. Talk about a small world! The group playing there was great and Bob, suckered again into buying a cd  Can't tell you how many we have from our travels. One more day here and then off to Nashville. I'm off to sit outside, having another cup of coffee and watch the barges roll by. Everyone enjoy their day. carold

good morning ladies
slept so much better last night, took a pain pill which also had a sedative in it (doctors ok) and theres
no evidence of shingles. As far as the ramsey hunt syndrome, the treatment they gave me was the
same treatment that would have been for that too so we're good and I just need a little patience.
Have another appt with the neuro doc next Thursday. That's basically to check my progress I guess
cause she still talks about therapy if I want it. I'm doing the exercises on my face that she told me
and I really don't want to spend the money for a therapist unless I really REALLY need it. I will
definately need a new pair of glasses though after this, I was due for a new pair anyway but I do
notice my vision is not correct for the bifocal part of my glasses. The upper part works good though.
This prescription is 4 years old so yes, I am overdue.
My agenda for today, helping son with his laundry and also going through another box of old papers
and purging.
Yesterday we had a main water line break and that got repaired and water turned back on. Now
the pressure is much higher and the toilet valve needs adjusting. Our high yesterday was 108 and
when the water was shut off the swamp cooler didn't work right, it didn't take long for those
pads to dry out and it was just blowing hot air. Worker had to get up on the roof again to adjust
the float on that after the new water pressure made it run over the edge all night. Never a dull
moment around here.
Fresh pot of coffee is ready and a yogurt with toast for breakfast. Ya'll have a great day and I'll be
waiting for the Alaska bound girls to check in. :D

Good Morning everyone... it was in the mid 40s this morning... will recover to the mid 70s getting us ready for the hot weekend 90 or so... hope you all enjoy the weather forecast! I enjoy knowing the weather wherever you all are also...
I changed my Verizon to a hot spot yesterday and the device will be here tomorrow... will be able to download to my Kindle then! that sure beats getting in the car and driving downtown where there is wifi...
Vet appointment today for Shadow... my time taking it easy is up today... should be able to do normal walking and stair climbing... the knees seem to be much better but will know more after I put in a normal day...
Friday evening and the weekend the family will be putting on a new roof on Tim's house... I will make sloppy joes and cole slaw and take chips over for lunch... my daughter will make things also... there should be a good crew there to help... those are such fun times when the whole family comes together to help... everyone puts aside their differences and pitches in...
Soos I hope it clears up so you can make use of the pool! such a great time you are having with Orion and family... you have the best of both worlds now!
Carold be careful your rig could become overloaded!! Ava I do hope things continue to improve for you... it sure is hard to be patient...
Coffee is good and warming me up...
Take care everyone on the road...

So glad to hear Molly didn't break any thing and hope she will heal soon. Wow Soos, looking at what you paid I checked to see what the prevention meds I'm giving cost ACK!!!! the heartworm/flea pills (Sentinel) just for Charley a year is $206.00! Good grief I hadn't realized the total cost, I know they need to have the medication so have just not really paid attention. I know with the way vet prices for everything has gone up, in the future I won't be able to afford three.

It is lovely and cool here again this morning but silly me looked at the 7 day forecast and it is going to get hot and humid :( :( I know I should just enjoy the days as they come but summer makes me so anxious about the heat, and gees, it isn't even summer yet. I had a busy day yesterday yoga and lunch with a friend, always good to sit and chat, so many of my friends still work, I get a bit lonely. Guess I should think about starting an online business for Hypnosis/Reiki. I spoke with a client Sunday, a doctor who I did hypnosis with over Skype a couple of months ago, who had been unable to work due to migraines. Since we worked together, she has only had three occasions when she needed medication! I know it doesn't work for everyone but, it does make me excited when I hear positive experiences and especially this one because it was over Skype.

Time to get busy again, I'm just taking a break I've been up since 5:30 and it has felt good to sit for awhile.

Woke up at 7:30 this morning and posted on here but lost it, so I went back to sleep...until noon!! Sitting out on the patio, it is a perfect day here in SoCal!

Been spending the afternoon getting caught up on the Alaska blogs. Sounds like things are going well for them so far!

Hope you all are having a good day. :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
