TX GTG Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning all! Liz, I am so glad you are doing ok. Take it easy for a couple of weeks. We flipped our truck a few years ago (no major injuries) and were sore for about 2 weeks. I am so glad I joined this website with so many wonderful ladies!

Not too much going on at the Circle Y ranch today. We've only had 3 trucks come in and they are all gone now. We gave the dogs a bath because we just could not stand them anymore. With all the dust and then mud, they really needed it. Now they are outside on the mat drying in the sun. They REALLY want to come in.

And here are some wildflowers for you.

Morning is way gone, so I'll say good evening to everyone!

Liz, great to see your post. My heart and thoughts continue to be with you and Bandit for a loving reunion very soon.

The sleeper sofa that came with our Montana went out the door today!

I think my yellow arrow and "sofa" look either like a kid's handwriting or that of an elderly woman . . . it was my shot at putting in text on a photo. I'm still a kid at heart and, although in my 50s, not near what I consider "elderly." My penmanship is a bit better than that!

No, that's not a dumpster truck. One of the scrap truck drivers bought the sofa. He wrapped it all up and put it on top of the scrap load!

I've got a twin mattress set ordered, will put that in the space where the sofa was, thus giving us a daybed effect. Even with the addition of the twin set, we just dropped 100+ pounds out of the rig getting rid of the sofa. That was not our main objective, but it's a nifty side benefit!

This is one of those times I wish I could beam down to Texas for a few days for the GTG! Enjoy!

Be safe out there, gals, and have a groovy evening!

Liz so glad to see your post. Hope you can relax a bit and enjoy the gathering. I will be returning home from Panama City Beach tomorrow and continue getting ready for not only the Alaska trip but also hoping my house sells.

Will be anxiously looking to see what the future rv will be. Want to know what color I will be following this year.

Praying that you find Bandit soon.

Doris Ann thank you for the pics of the wild flowers!! They sure brightened up my day! I can hardly wait for Spring to pop!

Betty! Heavens I have driven one of those often enough! Worked for over 3yrs for a scrap and trash business in upstate NY. That's how I got started into truck driving. Did the roll-off then went to school to get my class A for tractor trailer. Now I just drive my pickup!

Liz,

So very glad to see that you are progressing well! God certainly had you in his hands and protected you! Hoping and praying that Bandit will show up soon.

Good luck in finding another motorhome that you will love as much as 'Silver Lining'.

Enjoy the GTG and post lots of pictures, please!

Might be how your security level is set on your computer. I got right on with my iPad and this computer.

Liz, I am glad that I saw your post, because I have been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. My prayers will be for Bandit and that he will find you very soon. I am glad that you are recovering nicely. I know that the shock of what happened will take a bit of time to wear off. I am so glad to see that you are a no nonsense person and are going ahead with life full force. Enjoy the GTG and good luck in your new Rig hunt. Tatjana
