THE ITALIAN ELBOW
An Italian grandmother is giving directions to her
grown grandson who is coming to visit with his wife.
'You comma to de front door of the apartamenta. I am
inna apartamenta 301. There issa bigga panel at the
front door. With you elbow, pusha button 301. I will
buzza you in. Come inside, the elevator is on the
right. Get in, and with you elbow, pusha 3. When you
get out, I'mma on the left. With you elbow, hit my
doorbell.'
'Grandma, that sounds easy, but, why am I hitting
all these buttons with my elbow?
'What . . .You coming empty handed?'

Ava, now I did post and answer you... or did I ? LOL something strang here LOL yeah me.. !!! You is right .. my elbows have been flattend from carrying so many packages to my Nona's house ...."spingendo loro pulsanti " LOL
In fact I can remember as a kid her making me do many errands... I was known through out Little Italy... I visited many many stores..
Nona use to say to me "Barbera, siete gonna è più forte gambe in cielo" and I would say to her , Nonna, ho pensato Angeli non hanno gambe, che avevano ali e una testa! Then she'd bop me in the head LOL nice, youa lika my story 
...hahahaha...

Ava, you're right... duh ! Sorry about that.. but after a certain hour when I need sleep my brain is a flat liner... LOL Ok.. well it kind of loses it's meaning when you go from Italian to English... but my Nona (Grandma) use to have to play games with me to get me to go to the stores.. remember now I'm only a little kid and big city blocks looks like there's never an ending... so she's tell me that from doing all this walking I'd have strong legs and be able to get around real good in heaven and that I was an angel for doing all that... so me, my wise asp attitude (even as a child) would always have a come back.. in which I told her.. Nona, Angels don't have legs they just have wings and heads..(from all the pictures in Catholic school books ) she's say her chosen words...of course I won't repeat and bop me in the head...and say... "Get out of here you crazy kid " and throw her hands up in the air after she bopped me ....LOL... so that's kind of what I said.. but didn't put her last part in.. didn't want ya all to think them Italian Nona's were nothin but sweet... and tough ole birds too.. hahahaha..
You do know Italians can't talk with out their hands...LOL
God Bless Nona...!!! She'll probably bop me when we meet again.. or that pinch ouch !!
