Actually, I fell in love with a Winnebago view recently at an rv show. So, yep, I have my scope out. Not sure how soon it will take place, but I'll still be around! Glad to see you back in the lower 48 and see ya posting!

I did not know that Allegro had a front diesel engine. How noisy is it while driving, any fumes get into the interior? I thought most diesels were pushers(rear engine). Allegro is one of the most respected RV companies for sure. Going from that rig to a View would be a shock I would think, huge to little. They have a Mercedes Benz diesel engine.

I don't think they made them for too many years, but it isn't extremely loud (although I don't have anything to compare it to) and no exhaust gets in as the tail pipe extends out the rear passenger side of,the rig. Yes, it will be an adjustment downsizing, but since I am only able to "camp" right not and not "live" in the rv, I don't think it will be too bad adjusting.
