Do you not like kayaking? I don't know anything about them. Just curious.

Have only done it in Palau (over by the Philippines) with a professional guide. Almost died, but still loved it (after George and I weren't killed). This was about 10 years ago, so poor George, 70 years old and getting thrown into a coral reef...
I bought this just for the trip to Alaska.
Never got to use it.
Come to think of it - hey, you Alaska sojourners - have any of you kayaked yet?
Sigh.

Not yet, is the reply.....has been either too cold or the water too rough...but the trip isn't over yet. Nan and I are currently sitting next to a nice kayaking sort of lake but lets see if it decides to keep gray and raining tomorrow. I use mine on several of the river back in Ohio and have used it at a COE lake in TN. So I know that mine will get used if not this week. We still have many miles to go and no end date in sight
(And I am the one hauling two different inflatable kayaks with me...
)

Mitch - how much are you wanting for it? I'm still looking for something, just not sure what. And I need to see if I can get in and out of whatever I get with my knees.

I was thinking $350, including the cart thing (that's everything shown on the link for the boat) ? ? ?
I've never sold anything (that I can remember) before...

And now it is official...
at least two of the Alaska kayaks have been in water. Nan and I put ours in this morning. We also managed to both get out of our kayaks with only wet feet and ankles. (We made a promise to each other of no camera during the docking activities
)

I'd be interested, since you have the same kayak I have been looking at, but not sure how I would get it from you to MN. Also don't have the money right now

Barbie - that's the only reason I haven't snapped it up - getting it to TX.

I'll just say we're not going and be quiet as a mouse and sneak our little rig in next to yours. You'll never know we're there.

While those 2 argue, I'll throw in my 2 cents that Mitch does intend to attend the TX gtg - if you can make a deal - I bet she could bring it with.
Of course, with Mitch - what she intends and what happens could be 2 different things - but her intentions are good
