I have sent in all three of my Canon cameras that I have damaged for repair. (One had scratch on lens, one I dropped on concrete, one had lens error...under warranty.) Instead of repairing them, they have sent me 3 new or refurbished (they look new) cameras complete in the box with battery, charger, strap and manual. They each have a 6-month warranty. I plan to keep two of them, but don't really need 3, so I am offering one for sale here at $300. If it does not sell here, I will put it online at $350.

And I have to say, Canon has excellent customer service. I should have called them long ago.
