Cinnabon Roll Cake :)

Here is this delicious cake that Ms Dawn will so graciously make for the Texas GTG whoopee...

Cinnabon Roll Cake

Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 T butter, melted
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 T flour
1 T cinnamon
2/3 cups nuts (optional)

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
5 T milk
1 tsp vanilla

With an electric mixer or stand-up mixer, mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk,
eggs, and vanilla. Once combined well, slowly stir in 4 T melted butter. Pour batter into
a greased 9x13" baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix the 2 sticks of softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts
until well combined. Drop evenly over cake batter by the tablespoon and use a knife to
marble/swirl through the cake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from
center. Place powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth.
Drizzle over warm cake. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Psst.. I'd personally would make a Cream Cheese Frosting.. that would be more well lets say
"Delicious"...smacking lips here and licking fingers hahaha

Enjoy God Bless and I wanna hear all the good stuff

That looks so good but I'm afraid to guess how many calories would be in a piece. I have to make a dessert for an auction a club I belong to has so might have to try this.

Thanks Mitch !!! Really didn't want to know  However, if someone makes it, I won't let all those numbers get in the way.

Since Barb volunteered me on FB, looks like I get to make it. Hope it all gets eaten up so I don't have any leftovers, especially since Mitch broke down the calorie count.

Slivers on things like this is all I can have - on very rare occasions. But I can sure enjoy the rest of you eating it. My healthier self came about because I pretty much cut out sugars - don't need calorie counts - just tell me sugar is in it, and I pretty much count it out.

One little corner w/o frosting, please. Saves me from scraping it off. The guys at work would crack up when someone would bring donuts and I'd be over at the trash can scraping off frosting. :D

It was awesome!! Many thanks to Dawn for going to the trouble of making it. I do believe I might have been the only one that didn't put glaze on it tho....

There were only a couple pieces left and Mom and I finished them up last night. This recipe is definitely a keeper, even with all the bowls it takes to make.  You get to make it next time Zeee.

Dawn's cake was great. I have to make a dessert for my club but I don't know if I could bear to give that cake away. Guess I will have to make 2. ;)

I made my 2 cakes. Dawn, I see what you mean about all the bowls. Not the easiest cake to make in an RV. The lady I gave the cake to called me today and told me how much they enjoyed it. Guess I didn't kill anyone. hehe The second one I cooked in 2 8x8 pans and gave one of those away too.

Martha, I will definitely make it again. Even with all the bowls. Zeee could have told me about that when she volunteered me.  It is really good. I might make it tonight. I have all the ingredients since they are pretty much staples. Depends on how I feel after fixing supper. Cooking two in the smaller pans works for me too.
