Moo Shu Chicken or Pork

Postby Barbzeee » Sun Sep 26, 2010 8:25 am

Yes, I'm on a Chinese kick.. but it is good..and almost everyone loves this food...

I am going to do this recipe as I have lots of left overs from my Crock Pot Chinese BB pork from yesterday .

I also refer to these as the "Chinese Filled Pancake..".. What can I tell ya.. "I'm Italian"..:)

Hope you give these a try.. Enjoy

God Bless

Zeee

Moo Shu Chicken or Pork

1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
10 oz bag of shredded coleslaw mix
8 oz bag shredded carrots
4 scallions, sliced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
10 (6 inch) flour tortillas
3 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast (or pork)

1. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic,
coleslaw mix, carrots and scallions. Cook stirring occasionally
for 8 minutes or until veggies are softened.

2. Stir in the hoisin and soy sauces. Cook 2 minutes. Add chicken
and stir well to combine and heat through.

3. To serve, heat tortillas following package directions. Spoon
1/2 cup of chicken mixture down center of tortilla and roll up.

This serves "10"..... but you can cut this back..
