A few of the ladies at the GTG wanted this recipe for the dish I made.
1 pkg of cornbread mix (jiffy)
1/2 each bell pepper, green, red, yellow, orange; 1 small stalk of celery
1 red tomato
1 bunch of green onions
1 pkg Ranch Dressing (dry)
1 sour cream (8 oz container)
1 cup of mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded cheese
approx. 8-10 slices of bacon -cooked crisp and crumbled. put some aside to sprinkle on top.
while cooking the bread. chop all the vegetables in small dice; crumble cornbread and allow to cool ; put small amount of cornbread and veggies aside to sprinkle on top.
mix ranch dressing, sour cream, and mayonnaise together--set aside
mix cornbread, veggies all together so they are all through the cornbread---put the ranch dressing mix, bacon, and cheese over cornbread mixture and blend together.. put in bowl, sprinkle things set aside on top and chill.
*** if want to use as a dip (great tasting) then add more sour cream and mayonnaise so it will be more fluid.
