Pudding Shooters

Postby Bethers » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:44 pm

Oh my - I can't wait to try these. Here's the recipe given:

1 small box instant pudding
1 small tub cool whip
3/4 cup cold milk
3/4 cup Liquor (Baileys, Amaretto or Kahlua)

Mix pudding and milk together until thick.
Add liquor.
Mix until completely incorporated.
Fold in Cool Whip and mix thoroughly.
Each batch will make approx. 40 2 oz. cups.

Pudding/Liquor Flavor Suggestions:

Chocolate - Kahlua
White Chocolate - Baileys
Vanilla - Amaretto
Cheesecake - Kahlua
Pineapple - Malibu
Blueberry - Blue Pucker

Since my favorite Bailey's is the mint chocolate, my first time making them will be chocolate pudding and Bailey's Mint Chocolate. My mouth is watering already.

OMG. OMG.

You possibly have come up with the OFFICIAL "Soos Slammer", in honor of Soos' retirement...

I bow to you, oh Great Booze Mixer...

My taste test results will follow soon.

I love jello shooters but these sound really awesome!

Mitch, I think they need to be tested at the Arkansas gtg, what do you say?

She'll have them tested by tomorrow! She's probably whipping up a batch as we 'speak'! Not sure I would trust eating a batch of it made by her at the AR GTG tho!

You got that right...(but only for YOU)

You're not really brave enough to show up at the AR GTG, are you?
A tent offers very little protection against, well, different 'mean things', shall we say?
I'm thinkin' an armored truck might provide more adequate protection for a Dewfus.

PS: You CAN swim, can't you?

PPS: Oh, I really (seriously) hope you can make it. Vickie and I have been talking how nice it would be to have someone to pick on together, er, I mean we'd both like to meet you...

Gee Beth, too bad you didn't have this recipe last week. We could seriously have tried them and I'm sure we would need to perfect them and keep trying. what do you think? :D

I agree with Carolyn. We would have had time to try many different flavors and perfect the directions. On second thought, you and I can still do that - maybe next week.

Sarah, that sounds like a plan. Yep, Carolyn - this recipe came a few days too late for us - but we'll get another opportunity. Or should I say, we'll MAKE another opportunity.

The Verdict Is In

Postby mitch5252 » Fri Jul 02, 2010 3:44 pm

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I used Sugar-Free/Fat-Free Chocolate Pudding, Free Cool Whip, Skim Milk and Kahlua! OMG. I had to grab the spoon away from George!!

Only thing - it's not of a consistency to 'drink'. Gotta use a spoon. Has anyone else tried it yet and had different results?

YUMMO!

ON EDIT: I just ran the numbers for a 1 oz. serving.
Next time, I'll weigh the total recipe before we eat any of it to double check these figures!

ON 2ND EDIT: Here's a pic of a 1 oz. service (box is shown for scale).
