Just wondering if any of you southern gals have a good recipe for Peach Cobbler?
I bought a little bag of Peach Cobbler mix at the Atlanta airport once and it was really great! I had a friend pick some up for me when she had a layover in Atlanta but it wasn't the same stuff and it didn't bake up the same. The first mix would go on the bottom of the baking dish with the peaches on top, then as it baked, the mix would come up to the top and cover the peaches by the time it was done baking. It was great! The second mix was put on top of the peaches before baking and it looked and tasted awful!
Anyways, I would love to get a good, fairly easy recipe to make it. Or if you know where I can get that original mix (sorry, can't think of the name of it but it came in a little gunny sack).

I have a really easy one that my mom called "lazy man pie". It is easy and delish!

1/2 C flour
1/2 C milk
1/2 C sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
Mix well.

In square casserole dish melt 1 TBSP butter in 350° oven.

Pour mixture into dish (after butter melts). Pour in 1 regular size can of sliced peaches, including the liquid. DO NOT STIR.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream or milk even. Enjoy.

That sounds really good, and very simple! I like good and simple! I will try it!
Thanks!
