I really like easy stuff so I came up with this chowder to utilize some of the
turkey in the freezer. I must say, I really thought it was tasty!

Easy Turkey Chowder

1 can cream of potato soup
mix the soup according to directions using 1 can of milk (I used half and half)
stir in
1 can cream style corn
add spices...I used, leaf thyme, couple of bay leaf, oregano, basil,
add about 2 cups of cut up turkey meat (already cooked)
microwave a couple of small potatoes till done (my microwave does 2 in 5 min)
cut the potatoes in chunks (I left the skin on) and add to the mix.
Stir good, heat til hot and enjoy with crackers. It was thick, the way I like
chowder but if you like it thinner, just add more milk or even water.
I used a pot on the stove but I think it would work well in the crockpot too.
Was great for this cold weather day, was a nice substitute for hot chili.

I love making up my own soups. This sounds tasty! Good for you.
Today I browned some mild italian sausage, then sauteed some onion/garlic. Put the two together and added some chicken stock, cubed potatoes and fresh kale and simmered till tender. Wasn't too bad and tasted pretty good on a cold windy day.
Thanks for sharing your recipe, Ava!

I have one large helping left that I froze and its all mine  but it is thick enough
that if someone stopped by I could stretch it out a bit :D
