Easy Fruit Salad

Easy Fruit Salad

Fruit (various, see below)
Mayo or Miracle Whip (I'm actually used to the fat free products) - about 1/2 cup
Single serving container of yogurt (originally I used plain yogurt, but have since picked a fruit I'm not using - usually either blueberry or strawberry to add a little flavor

Pick some various fruits - some I usually use include green and red seedless grapes, a couple of my favorite varieties of apples - then I add in whatever looks good or nothing else if they don't - but fresh strawberries and/or blueberries are great.

Great other additions - chopped celery for crunch - or chopped nuts or your favorite seed meatss (I use sunflower meats, sometimes, for example) In other words, this is very versatile. I've also made it with the fruits, celery and then a can or 2 of chicken - making it really a chicken salad that I served on lettuce leaves for a summer brunch.

Clean the fruits and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the yogurt and mayo together in a separate bowl until completely blended. Spoon it over the fruit mixture and mix gently. Refrigerate for at least a couple hours before serving (I usually do it the night before), It'll last a few days at least in the fridge - then if I'm not serving it for guests, I have it for lunch several days. It's a great summer lunch!

Oh, that sounds wonderful to eat on a hot day. I love fruit salads; or any salads for that matter!
