I make this in the bread maker on the dough cycle and then form into buns or cinnamon rolls. I never bake any bread recipe in the machine because I don't like the shape of the loaves and it seems to be a little dry,

3 3/4 cups bread flour
1 egg
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup plus 2 TBSP sugar
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup vegetable oil (I use canola oil)
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp yeast.

This dough seems to rise until double in size a little on the slow side. These buns are excellent for sandwiches. And it tastes just as good or better as King Hawaiian Bread you buy in the store.
