pineapple whip

on Facebook I've seen a recipe for what they call pineapple whip suppose to be the recipe for what one can find at Disney Land
that said not been to Disneyland for many many years like I was a teen when I went so haven't anything to compare this with..
I made I liked so I'm sharing  I've actually seen the recipe written two different ways this is the one I used:

Pineapple whip

1 fresh pineapple prepared by taking off the outer stuff coring and cutting up into smaller size pieces
put in zip lock bag freeze over night

1 C. coconut milk or any milk....it didn't say what kind of coconut milk so my daughter and I used almond coconut milk (Silk I think) tonight we used coconut milk creamer)
put into blender while blending add frozen pineapple a bit at a time
it was so good the first time I made it couldn't use all of the pineapple not sure if it was due to the blender or what
tonight we used all of the pineapple but it was a smaller pineapple...and a better blender ;)
not sure what the difference is but it's thick and yummy

I make similar using the canned coconut milk, refrigerate it, and discard the liquid. Mine ends up like an ice cream. In fact, I often make it in my ice cream maker. Only thing I'd like to do is get the pineapple creamer, but I'm always in too much of a hurry when I blend the pineapple. I have some in my freezer now. Yummy.

I just didn't blend the pinapples as much as I'd like - but gave some away yesterday and they LIKED it the way I did it.

Are you making yours to drink? I make mine to be more soft serve, then ice cream - need a spoon. Either way, it's really tasty. My version that I use Almond Milk - I call a smoothie - and is probably closer to what you make, but I make my smoothies have added ingredients - protein powder, spinach, etc etc. My coconut milk version is for ice cream lolol ... yep, I'm getting nutty with all this stuff -

I make room. And usually stick something in it to do so, like a package of frozen vegetables last time.
