Peaches and Cream Cake ..ummm good !

Here's a favorite of mine.. Give this one a try...


Peaaches and Cream Cake

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 pkg. cheesecake or vanilla instant pudding mix (3.4 ounce)
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 15 oz can sliced peaches, drained (reserve syrup)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon mixed with 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

PREPARATION:
Mix together first 5 ingredients. Spread in lightly greased square pan
Arrange peaches over batter. Beat the cream cheese, sugar and
3 tablespoons peach juice for about 2 minutes. Spread over peaches, leaving
a 1-inch border. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar over cream cheese mixture. Bake
in a greased 8x8 or 9x9 pan..for 35 to 45 minutes in 350 degree preheated oven.
Cool and refrigerate.

Now I double this recipe.. cept I only still use one can of peaches and I put it in a
greased 9 x 13 pan..

this recipe dates back to early 60's ..a jewish girlfriend of mine made it and I convinced
her into telling me cause I was moving..You know one of those treasured secrets..Veda (
see why I like that name ) I will always remember you !!
