Oh, dear Lord, I would be happy to do that if you didn't put EVOO in the water. But since you're goofy enough to do something like that, the noodle won't be wet - it'll be hard and more shaped like a big, thick stick. Or maybe a large, yet still able to be held in a small hand, rock...
I have to admit I too put oil in my water when I cook pasta. Use to use salt but my best friends husband is Italian and said his Mother always use olive oil in the water. I figured it wouldn't hurt and it does help it not stick together if I forget to stir often enough.
Also my husband says in the Navy if it goes down easy it will come up easy. So I just figure if it slides in easy it will slide out easy too! Doesn't hurt the sauce (or gravy either).

I too put Olive Oil in my pot when boiling noodles, is that why my sauce slides off I have some of those liners and they are great for messy stuff. Sometimes I just spray a tidge of pam too.
May have to give that lasagna recipe a try though. Love fixin it and forgetting it. Hubby loves coming home to the smell of viddles in the crock

I use to use the oil method, too, but still had problems. Lately when I cook pasta I only salt the water, cause according to the chefs on the FoodNetwork, that's the only time you have to season the noodle itself. It will absorb the salt. For whatever reason I have not had any sticking problems since I quit using the oil method. Hmmm.....
