Crab Cakes

In FL, I can only get the canned crab meat, which is not as sweet as MD crab meat.

1 lb crab meat
1 egg
2 heaping TBSP mayonnaise
2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1 TBSP breadcrumbs
Small shake Worchestershire Sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees or fry in small amount of hot oil.
Beat the egg and add mayo, Old Bay Seasoning, breadcrumbs and Worchestershire Sauce. When this is mixed, add the crab meat trying not to break up the lumps.
Make 4 crab cakes after mixing the ingredients.
Place in the refrigerator to firm the patties for a minimum of an hour.
I bake the crab cakes in the oven as they don't have to be flipped. They are done in 30 minutes.

Sheila, I'm certain the crab cakes would bake perfectly in the air fryer. I always make 4 crab cakes per pound of meat but you can make them smaller. I've never had Old Bay Seasoning go bad, but I use it fairly regularly.

Sheila, I'm guessing my crab cakes are about 4" in diameter and about an inch thick.
