I make mine different. Make a roux with butter and flour. Add some salt and pepper. I use about 1/2 milk and 1/2 drippings. Chuck always liked chopped up giblets but I prefer just little bits of turkey meat. I chop up about 6 hard boiled eggs and add just before serving.

yep, this is the way I do it too but haven't done it in a good 15 years.

This will be the first time in 33 years I have not cooked the Thanksgiving Dinner. It's going to be a driving day for me. I think that is best for this year.
