Volunteering at Oregon State Parks

Hi! Does anyone have experience volunteering at Oregon State Parks? Any recommendations for specific parks?

Janice, last fall I talked with a woman that was a volunteer at one of the OR state parks. She loved it the previous years and was very frustrated last year. Different management at the park and they didn't appreciate workampers. But she emphasized to me that hasn't been the norm. I'd give them a shot if I was looking in that area. And they have some gorgeous state parks.

Volunteers I have met at OR parks are happy; I think that's a good sign!

I'd posted something about Trudy, the gal with the 5er who workamped for a season at a lighthouse in Oregon, but it seems to have disappeared ... kind of like her.

Maybe she still reads here & just doesn't post. And if that's the case maybe she'll PM you, Janice. I remember her liking what she did. I think.
